Who we are
Christ Daily Shot was born in 2024, in a small room, from a simple conviction: the Catholic faith is the greatest treasure a person can have — but it is often buried under layers of noise, misinformation, and superficiality. We saw that young Catholics were hungry for serious, beautiful, and accessible content. And we decided to act.
Inspired by the richness of 2,000 years of Catholic tradition and the clarity of the best contemporary digital content, we created something different: a space where Saint Augustine and Saint John Paul II meet modern design and clear language. Where Lectio Divina is explained step by step and Catholic Social Teaching is applied to artificial intelligence.
We are not professional theologians — we are ordinary Catholics who believe that the faith deserves to be communicated with excellence. Every reflection we publish goes through hours of prayer, research, and revision. Every word is chosen with the care of someone who knows they are serving as a bridge between God's Word and someone's heart.
Today, CDS reaches thousands of readers across the world. We are, above all, a prayer community — and we pray daily for every person who reads us.
Our pillars
Daily Reflections
Every day we publish a reflection based on Scripture, the Church Fathers, or the Magisterium. These are not generic homilies — they are texts designed for those who want to go deeper in faith, with practical applications and questions for personal meditation. Each reflection takes an average of 5 to 12 minutes to read and is written to be reread, highlighted, and shared.
Solid Formation
Our Bible studies and formation guides are designed for Catholics who want to grow in knowledge of the faith — from the newly converted to the experienced catechist. We cover the sacraments, morality, Church history, patristics, liturgy, and spirituality with rigor and accessibility. All statements are grounded in the Catechism, conciliar documents, and the living tradition of the Church.
Faith & Culture
The Catholic faith does not live in a vacuum — it dialogues with science, politics, art, technology, and contemporary culture. At CDS we explore these intersections with honesty and courage: from the ethics of artificial intelligence in light of Social Teaching, to the role of sacred music in evangelization. We want every reader to be able to answer the difficult questions of the modern world with the wisdom of tradition.
Prayer Life
We believe that without prayer there is no Christian life. That is why we publish practical prayer guides — from Lectio Divina to the Rosary, from the Examination of Conscience to the Liturgy of the Hours. Each guide is designed for daily use, with timers, clear steps, and suggested Bible passages. We don't want you to just read about prayer — we want you to pray.

How we got here
The seed
Three Catholic friends realize there isn't enough digital content that combines theological depth with modern design. The idea for Christ Daily Shot is born during an Advent retreat.
First reflections
The first 10 reflections are written and shared with a group of 50 friends. The feedback is immediate and enthusiastic — "this is what we needed."
Public launch
The christdailyshot.com website launches officially with 30 reflections and 4 formation guides. In the first 30 days, 500 people subscribe to the newsletter.
Community grows
We surpassed 2,000 subscribers. Readers from around the world join the community. The first Lectio Divina guide becomes our most-read article.
Today
Over 5,000 subscribers, 120+ reflections published, readers in 40+ countries. The mission continues — bringing the beauty and truth of the Catholic faith to every person who reads us.
